The two wins in our final home weekend were extra special for our final graduating Senior, Assistant Captain Matt Chamberlain. Not only did Matt help secure two big wins over the Griz in his last home games with his stellar defense and a few points, but he also got to take the wins against his younger brother (who skates for the Griz) in front of his family! What a memorable last home game!
Matt, who transferred to us last season, has been a busy guy! He moved to Bozeman, transferred schools, served as Assistant Captain, married his beautiful wife Kendra, and will be graduating with his degree in Business Management this semester! There is no doubt that he will be a successful leader as he graduates and begins his career after school.
Matt is an intense competitor, an intimidating defenseman in the corners, and a calming presence on the ice and in the lockerroom. He will definitely be missed!
