The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had an incredible outing this past Saturday, as they took on the Boise State Broncos in Campion Ice House. The Bobcats were dominant, outshooting the Broncos 46-20 and ultimately winning 6-0. Jorgen Johnson was a star in goal for the Bobcats, making 40 saves on the night. Caleb Brownell had a great night as well, notching five assists. The Bobcats were also able to capitalize on their power play opportunities, going 1/8 on the night. The Broncos, on the other hand, had a tough time on the power play, going 0/9. Micah Crum had a rough night, taking four penalty minutes.
The Bobcats have a quick turnaround, as they take on the University of California-Los Angeles in their next game on Thursday, September 29th. The Bobcats will look to build on this impressive performance and continue their winning ways.
