The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had an impressive victory against the Boise State University Broncos on Saturday, September 24th at the Campion Ice House. The Bobcats dominated the game, outshooting the Broncos 46 to 20 and scoring 6 goals to the Broncos’ 0. Jorgen Johnson was outstanding in net for the Bobcats, making 40 saves on 20 shots. On the other side of the ice, Brad Johnson was also impressive for the Broncos, making 40 saves on 46 shots.
Caleb Brownell had a great game for the Bobcats, earning 5 assists. On the other side, Micah Crum earned 4 penalty minutes for the Broncos.
The Bobcats were 1 for 8 on the powerplay, while the Broncos were 0 for 9.
The Bobcats’ victory was a great way to start the season and the team looks forward to continuing their success in the upcoming games.
