The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team put on a show Saturday night, shutting out the Boise State University Broncos 6-0. The Bobcats dominated the game from the start, outshooting the Broncos 46-20 and capitalizing on their powerplay opportunities, going 1-8.

Jorgen Johnson was stellar in net for the Bobcats, stopping 40 of the Broncos’ 20 shots. Brad Johnson was also impressive for the Broncos, stopping 40 of the Bobcats’ 46 shots.

The Bobcats had a balanced attack, with six different players scoring goals. Caleb Brownell had an impressive performance, recording five assists. The Broncos’ Micah Crum had four penalty minutes.

The Bobcats put on a clinic, showing why they are one of the top teams in the league. With this win, the Bobcats improve to 4-1 on the season and look to keep their momentum going into next week’s matchup against the University of Idaho Vandals.
