The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team took on the Eastern Washington University Eagles in a thrilling game at the Idaho Ice World on Friday, September 30th. The Bobcats came out on top with a score of 13-0. The Bobcats dominated the game with 54 shots on goal, compared to the Eagles’ 8 shots. The Bobcats also had a strong powerplay, scoring on two out of their three chances.

The Bobcats’ goalie, Tyler Cortis, had a great game, stopping all 8 shots he faced. Ryan Perius had a standout performance, with four assists. The Eagles’ goalie, Austin Kirby, had a tough night, facing 54 shots and stopping 8 of them. The Eagles’ Caleb Chaloner was assessed two penalty minutes.
