The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had an impressive victory over the Eastern Washington University Eagles on Friday night at the Idaho Ice World. The Bobcats dominated the game from start to finish, out-shooting the Eagles 54-8 and scoring 13 goals to the Eagles 0. The Bobcats’ power play was particularly impressive, going 2-3 on the night.
Leading the way for the Bobcats was Ryan Perius who had 4 assists in the game. Tyler Cortis was solid in goal, stopping all 8 shots he faced. The Eagles’ Austin Kirby was also impressive, stopping 46 of the 54 shots he faced.
The Bobcats will now travel to Boise State University to take on the Broncos on Saturday. The Bobcats will look to keep their momentum going and will hope to come away with another victory.
