The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had a dominating performance against the Eastern Washington University Eagles on Friday night. The Bobcats scored 13 goals and held the Eagles to just 8 shots on goal. The Bobcats’ powerplay was 2/3, while the Eagles were 0/1.
The Bobcats’ goalie, Tyler Cortis, had a great night, making 8 saves on 8 shots. The Bobcats’ offense was led by Ryan Perius who had 4 assists. The Eagles’ goalie, Austin Kirby, was under a lot of pressure, making 54 saves on 54 shots. The Eagles’ Caleb Chaloner was also assessed 2 penalty minutes.
