The Bobcats had a great start to their season with an 8-0 win over the Boise State Broncos at Idaho Ice World. The Bobcats had 45 shots on goal, while the Broncos only mustered 19 shots. Jorgen Johnson was the Bobcats goaltender and he was impressive, making 37 saves and keeping the Broncos off the scoreboard. On the other side, Noah Riess was in net for the Broncos and he also had a strong game, making 37 saves.

Vinnie Farina led the way for the Bobcats with two goals. Micah Crum was the only Bronco to get a penalty, with four minutes in the box.

The Bobcats will now look to build on this win as they head to Utah State University on Friday, October 7th. It’s sure to be an exciting matchup, so make sure to tune in!
