The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team put on a show at the Idaho Ice World on Saturday, October 01, 2022, taking down the Boise State University Broncos 8-0. The Bobcats dominated the game from the start, outshooting the Broncos 45-19 and controlling the majority of the play. The Bobcats were particularly impressive on the powerplay, going 1/5, while the Broncos were unable to capitalize on their chances, going 0/5.

Bobcats goaltender Jorgen Johnson was stellar in the net, making 37 saves on the 19 shots he faced. His counterpart Noah Riess was also impressive, making 37 saves on the 45 shots he faced.

Leading the way for the Bobcats was Hayden Klem, who scored two goals. The Broncos’ Micah Crum was the only player to receive a penalty, receiving four minutes.

The Bobcats will look to continue their winning ways as they take on the Utah State University Fri, Oct 7.
