The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team put on a show Friday night at the Eccles Ice Center, taking down the Utah State University Aggies 5-3. The Bobcats were relentless in their attack, outshooting the Aggies 48-40. The Bobcats powerplay was 0-4 on the night, but the team was able to capitalize on their opportunities, thanks to two goals from Zachary Lane. The Aggies also had their chances, with Sam Voss scoring the lone goal for the Aggies. The goaltending was strong on both sides, with Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson making 43 saves on 40 shots, and Aggies goalie Titan Anderson making 43 saves on 48 shots.

The Bobcats will look to carry this momentum into their next game against the University of Utah Utes. With the win, the Bobcats have now moved to the top of the West Division standings. It’s been an exciting start to the season, and fans can look forward to more great hockey from the Bobcats!
