The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team were victorious in their opening game of the season against the Utah State University Aggies. The Bobcats took the lead early and never looked back, eventually securing a 5-3 win.

The Bobcats had a total of 48 shots on goal, while the Aggies had 40. Both teams had four powerplay opportunities, but neither was able to convert.

Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson had an impressive night, making 43 saves on 40 shots. Aggies goalie Titan Anderson also had a strong game, making 43 saves on 48 shots.

Bobcats forward Zachary Lane had a standout performance, scoring two goals. Aggies forward Sean Johnston also put up a good fight, scoring one goal.

The Bobcats will now move on to their next game against the Weber State University Wildcats, which will take place on Saturday, October 8. The Bobcats will look to maintain their winning streak and come out on top.
