The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team battled the Weber State University Wildcats in a hard fought game at the Weber County Ice Sheet on Saturday, October 08, 2022. The Bobcats put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short, losing 2-3.

The Bobcats had 34 shots on goal, while the Wildcats had 20 shots. Despite the shot disparity, the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities, going 0/2, while the Wildcats scored on their one powerplay opportunity.
