The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team faced off against the Weber State University Wildcats in a hard-fought battle on Saturday, October 8th. The Bobcats fought hard, but ultimately came up short with a 2-3 loss.
The Bobcats had 34 shots, while the Wildcats had 20. The Bobcats powerplay was 0/2 and the Wildcats was 1/1. Both teams had strong goaltending, with Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson making 32 saves on 20 shots, and Wildcats goalie Kyle Lane making 32 saves on 34 shots.
The Bobcats only goal was scored by #14 Steven Irick, and the Wildcats had two assists from #72 Andrei Shmakov.
