The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team put up a valiant effort against the Weber State University Wildcats, but were unable to come away with the win. The Bobcats had 34 shots to the Wildcats’ 20, but the Wildcats were able to capitalize on their powerplay opportunity and score the winning goal. Bobcats’ goalie Jorgen Johnson had a solid performance, making 32 saves on 34 shots. Bobcats’ #21 Zachary Lane was able to score the team’s only goal. Wildcats’ #72 Andrei Shmakov was able to pick up two assists.

The Bobcats will have to regroup and get ready for their next game on Friday, October 14th against the University of Montana. This will be a home game for the Bobcats and they will be looking to pick up the win. It will be a tough game, but the Bobcats are up for the challenge.
