The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team faced off against the Weber State University Wildcats in a hard-fought battle at the Weber County Ice Sheet. The Bobcats were unable to come out on top, despite their best efforts, as the Wildcats took the game 3-2.

The Bobcats had 34 shots on goal, compared to the Wildcats’ 20 shots. The Bobcats powerplay was 0/2, while the Wildcats’ was 1/1. Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson had 20 shots and 32 saves, while Wildcats goalie Kyle Lane had 34 shots and 32 saves.

Bobcats #21 Zachary Lane scored the only goal for the Bobcats, while Wildcats #72 Andrei Shmakov had two assists.

The Bobcats will now look ahead to their next game, a home forfeit against the University of Montana on Friday, October 14th. The Bobcats will be looking to avenge their loss against the Wildcats and come out with a win.

It was a tough loss for the Bobcats, but they will be looking to bounce back and come away with a victory in their next game.
