The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team took on the Weber State University Wildcats on Saturday, October 08, 2022 at the Weber County Ice Sheet. The Bobcats were looking to build on their previous win but it was the Wildcats who came away with the victory, 3-2.

The Bobcats were led by Zachary Lane, who scored their only goal, while the Wildcats were led by Andrei Shmakov who had two assists. Both teams had stellar goaltending performances, with Jorgen Johnson of the Bobcats making 32 saves on 34 shots, and Kyle Lane of the Wildcats making 32 saves on 34 shots.
