The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team put on an amazing show on Saturday night at Haynes Pavilion. The Bobcats took on the University of Montana Grizzlies and came out with an impressive 8-3 victory.
The Bobcats outshot the Grizzlies 38-18 and had a 1-5 advantage in powerplay opportunities. The Bobcats’ powerplay goal came in the second period to put them up 5-1.
Goalie Jorgen Johnson was impressive in net for the Bobcats, making 15 saves on 18 shots. Grizzlies goalie Jackson Hill also had a solid outing, making 15 saves on 38 shots.
The Bobcats were led by Ryan Perius, who had two assists in the game. The Grizzlies were led by Max Toijala, who scored their only goal.
