The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team pulled off a huge victory over the University of Montana Grizzlies with a final score of 8-3. The Bobcats dominated the ice, outshooting the Grizzlies 38-18 and capitalizing on their powerplay opportunities with a 1/5 success rate. Jorgen Johnson was in net for the Bobcats and had 15 saves, while Jackson Hill was in net for the Grizzlies and had 15 saves as well.
The Bobcats had a balanced attack on offense, with Ryan Perius leading the way with two assists. Max Toijala scored the only goal for the Grizzlies. The Bobcats are now off to a great start and look to continue their success as they face off against their rival, the University of Montana, again in a few weeks.
