The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had a tough night on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Starion Sports Complex in North Dakota. The Bobcats were outshot by the University of Mary Marauders 48-27, but Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson made 25 saves. The Bobcats powerplay was unable to convert any of their seven opportunities. The Marauders powerplay was also unsuccessful in their seven attempts.

The Bobcats’ lone goal was scored by #22 Duke Cherpeski, and the Marauders’ #11 Alexander Flicek contributed four assists. Ultimately, the Marauders won the game 4-2.

The Bobcats will look to bounce back from this loss when they travel to the University of Montana on Friday, February 3 for a 7:30 PM MST game. The Bobcats will have to dig deep and bring their best if they want to come away with a win. Go Bobcats!
