The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team finished the regular season on a high note with a 5-1 victory over the Boise State University Broncos at Haynes Pavilion on Friday night. The Bobcats dominated the game, outshooting the Broncos 32-30 and scoring one powerplay goal on six attempts. The Bobcats were led by Zachary Lane who scored three goals and was named the game’s first star. The Bobcats also got scoring from #11 John Smith and #19 Tyler Johnson.

The Bobcats goaltending was also stellar, with Jorgen Johnson making 29 saves on 30 shots and Brad Johnson making 29 saves on 32 shots. The Bobcats finished the regular season with a record of 21-2-1 and will now turn their attention to the playoffs. With the victory, the Bobcats have secured a top seed in the playoffs and will look to make a deep run.
