One more award before Nationals: Head Coach Dave Weaver was named the Coach of the Year for the ACHA West Region!
This is Dave’s 7th season leading the Bobcats and 2nd time winning this award.
During the past 7 seasons, the Bobcats have grown from the brink of folding into a nationally recognized program. The team has secured 2 league championships, attended Regional Championships 3x, won Regionals 2x, received an autobid to Nationals 1x, and qualified for 3 National Championship tournaments. In addition, the program has given hundreds of student athletes a positive college hockey experience while pursuing their education at Montana State University.
Coach Weaver and the rest of the Bobcats will be flying to Boston on March 15 in an effort to bring a National Championship home to Montana. Support for the team can be contributed through our Gofundme account (link below).
