The MD2 Montana State University Bobcats hockey team took home a huge victory against the Weber State University Wildcats on Saturday night at the Haynes Pavilion. The Bobcats were able to secure the 5-2 victory over the Wildcats, outshooting them 43-31 in the process.

The Bobcats powerplay was 2/9 while the Wildcats powerplay was 1/7. The Bobcats were able to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities, scoring two goals to secure the victory. The Wildcats were able to get on the board with a goal from Bryon Fobair, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bobcat’s offensive onslaught.

The Bobcats were led by Hayden Klem who had two assists on the night. The Bobcats goalie, Jorgen Johnson, was stellar in net, stopping 29 of the 31 shots he faced. The Wildcats goalie, Trey Hirschfield, was also impressive, stopping 29 of the 43 shots he faced.

The Bobcats were able to come away with the 5-2 victory, and the team will look to build on this momentum as they head into the next game. Congratulations to the MD2 Montana State University Bobcats hockey team on the big win!
