The MD2 Montana State University Bobcats hockey team had a thrilling victory against the Loyola Marymount University Lions on Friday, November 17th. The Bobcats outshot the Lions 37 to 18 and had a powerplay of 1/6. The Bobcats goalie, Jorgen Johnson, had 16 saves on 18 shots while the Lions goalie, Henry Lissner, had 16 saves on 37 shots. The Bobcats #29 Luke McKay had two goals and the Lions #14 Joe Kurita had one goal.

The Bobcats were able to pull off the win despite the Lions’ strong defense and it was a great team effort. The Bobcats played a smart and aggressive game and were able to capitalize on their opportunities. It was a great win for the Bobcats and a great way to kick off the season.

The Bobcats have a long season ahead of them and they are sure to have many more thrilling wins. Congratulations to the Montana State University Bobcats hockey team on their hard-fought victory!
