The Montana State University Bobcats put on a dominating performance in their recent game against the Montana Tech Orediggers, coming out on top with a resounding 14-0 victory. The game took place at the Butte Community Ice Center on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and the Bobcats left no doubt about their superiority on the ice.

The Bobcats unleashed an impressive offensive onslaught, firing a total of 92 shots on goal throughout the game. In contrast, the Orediggers managed just 12 shots, highlighting the Bobcats’ complete control of the game. The Bobcats’ powerplay was also firing on all cylinders, with a total of 6 opportunities resulting in 3 goals, showcasing their efficiency with the man advantage.

The Bobcats’ goaltender Marek Senn put on a stellar performance, stopping all 12 shots he faced to secure a shutout for his team. On the other side, Orediggers’ goalie Brecken Kasse faced a barrage of 50 shots, making an impressive 42 saves despite the overwhelming offensive pressure from the Bobcats.

One standout player for the Bobcats was #24 Bodie Shepardson, who had a remarkable game, scoring an impressive 4 goals to lead the team to victory. On the Orediggers’ side, #3 Lance Baumgart found himself in the penalty box for a total of 4 minutes, reflecting the physicality of the game.
