The Montana State University Bobcats hit the ice at Steed Arena in a thrilling matchup against the University of Providence Argonauts. The game ended with a final score of Bobcats 3 – Argonauts 4 after a nail-biting shootout.

The Bobcats put up a strong fight, tallying a total of 30 shots on goal throughout the game. However, the Argonauts dominated the offensive play with 55 shots on goal. The powerplay opportunities were crucial in this game, with the Bobcats going 1 for 8 on the powerplay while the Argonauts capitalized on 2 of their 7 powerplay chances.

In the net for the Bobcats, Jorgen Johnson faced a barrage of shots, making an impressive 51 saves on 54 shots. On the other end, Argonauts’ Paul Jarvis turned away 27 of the Bobcats’ 30 shots.

The scoring was spread out among both teams, with Bobcats’ #4 Dawson Speth finding the back of the net for one goal and Argonauts’ #19 Chavez Constant also contributing with a goal.

Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed resilience and determination throughout the game. The team’s efforts on both ends of the ice did not go unnoticed, and they will look to build on this performance in their upcoming games.
