The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team dominated the ice in their recent game against the Williston State College Tetons, coming out on top with a final score of 7-2. The game, which took place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Ressler Ice Rink, showcased the Bobcats’ skill and determination.

The Bobcats outshot the Tetons by a staggering margin, with 70 shots on goal compared to the Tetons’ 18 shots. Despite the Tetons’ efforts on the powerplay, going 1 for 5, they were no match for the Bobcats’ defense. Bobcats’ goalie Marek Senn put on a solid performance, making 16 saves out of the 18 shots he faced, while Tetons’ goalie Braylon Rogers faced a barrage of 70 shots and made an impressive 63 saves.

Individual players also shined in this game, with Tetons’ #18 Kade Phillips contributing 2 assists and Bobcats’ #7 Isaac Ellingson also tallying 2 assists. The Bobcats showed their offensive prowess and teamwork throughout the game, capitalizing on their opportunities and controlling the pace of play.

While the Bobcats’ powerplay did not convert on any of their 6 opportunities, their overall performance on both ends of the ice was enough to secure a decisive victory. The team’s dedication to their game plan and strong work ethic were evident in their dominant performance against the Tetons.
