The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team delivered a dominating performance on Friday night at Ressler Ice Rink as they shut out the University of Providence Argonauts with a commanding 8-0 victory.

The Bobcats came out firing on all cylinders, outshooting their opponents 46 to 20 throughout the game. Their powerplay was particularly effective, going 3 for 11, while the Argonauts struggled to convert on their opportunities, going 0 for 3 on the powerplay.

Bobcats goaltender Jorgen Johnson put on a stellar performance, stopping all 14 shots he faced to secure the shutout. On the other end, Argonauts goalie Paul Jarvis faced a barrage of shots, making an impressive 38 saves on 46 shots.

The Bobcats’ offense was firing on all cylinders, with standout performances from players like Luke Juergensen, who recorded three assists in the game. Meanwhile, the Argonauts found themselves struggling to contain the Bobcats’ offensive onslaught, with penalties adding up, including a four-minute penalty for Kaleb West.
