The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team dominated the ice in a thrilling match against the University of Montana Grizzlies, coming out on top with a resounding 6-0 victory. The game, which took place on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ressler Ice Rink, showcased the Bobcats’ skill and determination as they outplayed their opponents in every aspect of the game.

The Bobcats put on a shooting clinic, racking up an impressive 58 shots on goal compared to the Grizzlies’ 37 shots. The Grizzlies struggled to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities, going 0 for 8, while the Bobcats made the most of their chances, converting on 3 out of 7 powerplays.

In the net, Bobcats goalie Jorgen Johnson stood tall, turning away all 37 shots he faced to secure the shutout victory. On the other side, Grizzlies goalie Nash Wilson faced a barrage of shots, making an impressive 52 saves despite the relentless pressure from the Bobcats’ offense.

The Bobcats’ #11 Hayden Klem had a standout performance, tallying 3 assists to help lead his team to victory. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies’ #19 Johnny Baird found himself in the penalty box for a total of 17 minutes, further highlighting the physicality and intensity of the game.
