The Montana State University Bobcats made a strong showing at the Bottineau Community Arena on October 24th, 2025, securing a 4-1 victory over the Dakota College-Bottineau Lumberjacks. The Bobcats dominated the game with a total of 52 shots compared to the Lumberjacks’ 28.
The Bobcats’ powerplay was successful 1 out of 5 times, while the Lumberjacks did not manage to capitalize on any of their 4 opportunities. Bobcats’ goalie, Richie Popson, had an impressive performance with 27 saves out of 28 shots. On the other side, Lumberjacks’ Josh Mack managed to save 48 out of the 52 shots he faced.
In terms of individual performances, Bobcats’ #17, Ben Sutton, played a pivotal role in the team’s victory with 3 assists. For the Lumberjacks, #9 Carter Ralston managed to score the only goal for his team.
