The Montana State University Bobcats suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 loss in overtime to the Utah State University Aggies on October 30, 2025.
Despite the Bobcats dominating the game with 26 shots compared to the Aggies’ 16, the Aggies managed to pull off the win at Eccles Ice Center. The Bobcats’ powerplay was 1/3 while the Aggies struggled with a 0/5 record.
Bobcats’ goalie Nikolai Wallery had a solid game, blocking 14 out of 16 shots. On the other side, Aggies’ Ryan Wallin was the star of the night, making an impressive 25 saves out of 26 shots.
Bobcats’ #5 Owen Davis scored the lone goal for the team, while Aggies’ #28 Jack Lafontaine contributed significantly with 2 assists.
