The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough defeat against the Liberty University Flames on November 15, 2025. The final score stood at 0-3 in favor of the Flames, after a grueling match at the Centene Community Ice Center in Missouri.

Despite the Bobcats’ formidable effort, which saw them take 32 shots at the Flames’ goal, they were unable to find the back of the net. The Flames, on the other hand, managed to convert three of their 34 shots into goals, thanks to their star player, #17 Cooper Fredericks.

The Bobcats’ powerplay attempts were unsuccessful, going 0/3, while the Flames also fell short on their powerplay attempts, going 0/7. The Bobcats’ goalie, Nikolai Wallery, had a challenging day on the ice, facing 34 shots and making 31 saves. On the other side, Flames’ goalie Cj Sehlke had a stellar performance, making 32 saves on 32 shots.

The Bobcats’ #11 Hayden Klem racked up 4 penalty minutes, adding to the team’s struggles. Flames’ #17 Cooper Fredericks was the star of the match, scoring all three goals for his team.

Despite the loss, the Bobcats are looking forward to their next game, a home match against Florida Gulf Coast University on Sunday, November 16 at 11:00 am CST at the Centene Community Ice Center. The team is hopeful for a strong comeback and a chance to bounce back from this defeat.
