The Montana State University Bobcats secured a decisive 3-1 win against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the Weber County Ice Sheet on November 22, 2025. The Bobcats dominated the game, taking a total of 49 shots compared to the Antelopes’ 26.

Despite the powerplay opportunities for both teams, neither the Bobcats (0/4) nor the Antelopes (0/5) were able to capitalize on them. However, the Bobcats’ aggressive offense and solid defense proved too much for the Antelopes.

The Bobcats’ goalie, Nikolai Wallery, put on an exceptional performance, saving 25 of the 26 shots he faced. On the other hand, the Antelopes’ goalie, Kyle Northrup, managed to save 46 out of 49 shots.

In terms of scoring, Antelopes’ #72 Wyatt Schmitz managed to sneak in a goal. However, the Bobcats’ #18 Jack Muhlfeld also found the back of the net, contributing to the Bobcats’ victory.

Looking ahead, the Bobcats will be facing off against the University of California-Berkeley on November 23, at the Weber County Ice Sheet. After their recent performance, they are sure to bring their A-game to the ice once again.
