Bobcats Triumph Over Jacks in Thrilling Hockey Clash
The Montana State University Bobcats have once again proven their dominance on the ice by defeating the Northern Arizona University Jacks 3-1 in a thrilling game at Peaks Arena on November 21, 2025.
The Bobcats started the game with a strong offensive strategy, taking a total of 44 shots, double the Jacks’ 22. This aggressive play paid off, with the Bobcats putting three goals past the Jacks’ goalie, Zachary Scacco, who managed to save 41 shots.
On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Richie Popson, had a stellar performance, saving 21 out of the 22 shots he faced. This was a key factor in the Bobcats’ victory.
The powerplays were evenly matched, with both teams having four opportunities. However, only the Bobcats were able to capitalize, scoring once, while the Jacks failed to convert any of their chances.
The goal scorers for the match were Liam Casey for the Jacks and Carter Large for the Bobcats, both contributing one goal each. Carter’s goal was instrumental in securing the Bobcats’ victory.
