In an electrifying showdown at Ressler Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious over their fierce rivals, the University of Montana Grizzlies, with a final score of 5-4 in overtime.

The Bobcats dominated with 60 shots compared to the Grizzlies’ 37, but it was a close game that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end. The Grizzlies showed their strength with a powerplay of 3/8, but the Bobcats weren’t far behind, securing a powerplay of 1/3.

The Bobcats’ goalie, Nikolai Wallery, proved to be a formidable wall against the Grizzlies, making 33 saves from 37 shots. On the other side, Grizzlies’ goalie Nash Wilson also put up a strong performance, saving 55 out of 60 shots.

The game saw Grizzlies’ #3 Max Toijala make a significant contribution with a goal. Meanwhile, Bobcats’ #17 Ben Sutton stood out with 2 assists, helping the Bobcats secure their victory.
