The Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious in a thrilling hockey game against the Sault College Cougars on Monday evening. The final score was 4-2, favoring the Bobcats.

The game, played at the Ressler Ice Rink, saw the Bobcats dominate the ice with an impressive 55 shots compared to the Cougars’ 20. Despite the disparity in shots, both teams struggled with their power play, with the Bobcats going 0/5 and the Cougars 0/4.

In the goalie matchup, the Bobcats’ Richie Popson faced off against the Cougars’ Trennis Riley. Popson saved 18 of the 20 shots he faced, while Riley managed to save 51 of the 55 shots from the Bobcats.

The Bobcats’ victory was a team effort, but a special mention goes to #55 Brayden Hindman, who contributed two assists in the game. For the Cougars, #11 Mitchell Moore managed to score a goal.
