#ROLLCATS

A Jersey Retired. A Legacy Secured.

On the South wall of our home rink, you’ll see the names Connor Mesec, Ryan Perius, and Jorgen Johnson—players whose impact on this program earned them a permanent place in Bobcat history. This season, another name was added.

As recognition for his historic contributions both on and off the ice, #11 will never be worn again.

Hayden Klem leaves this program as the most prolific scorer in Bobcat history. In a program-record 177 games, he recorded 121 goals, 145 assists, and became the first Bobcat ever to surpass 200 points, sitting at 265 career points and counting. A four-time All–West Conference selection, two-time 2nd Team All-American, and one of the top six forwards in the ACHA two years in a row out of more than 2,600 players. He also represented MSU and the United States on the National Team in Europe, leading all scorers with 10 assists.

Beyond the numbers, Hayden’s impact extended off the ice as well—serving this organization as President, Vice President, and Treasurer, setting a standard of leadership that will last long after his final shift.

And fittingly, on Senior Night and his final home game, with everything on the line, Hayden closed the book the only way he knows how—scoring the overtime game-winner.

Jersey retired. Legacy forever. Thank you #11.
