Just over two weeks until Nationals and the Cats are putting in the work!
We are so excited to represent Montana in the upcoming National Championships. Pulling off this trip is no small feat and is expected to cost nearly $60k. As a pay-to-play organization, we receive less than 2% of our annual operating budget from the university. The travel costs for players and staff including flights, hotels, meals, pre-tournament practice ice rental and more are covered by team fundraising efforts and out of pocket for our student athletes.
Over the next two weeks, we will be rolling out a ton of events to help get the team to St.Louis. The players will be busy selling raffle tickets, hosting fundraiser events, playing a Blue vs White fundraiser game, a Skate with the Cats event at the rink, and more.
