In a challenging face-off at the Plager Arena-CCIC, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the Penn State University Ice Lions with a final score of 6-2. The game took place on March 14th, 2026, and despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, the Ice Lions proved to be formidable opponents.

The Ice Lions dominated the game with a total of 26 shots, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their power play was strong, succeeding 1 out of 12 times. The Bobcats, on the other hand, managed to score 2 out of 10 power plays, showing a bit of resistance against the Ice Lions’ offensive onslaught.

In the goalie matchup, the Ice Lions’ John Seifarth successfully saved 17 of the 19 shots taken by the Bobcats. On the other side of the ice, Bobcats’ Nikolai Wallery managed to save 20 out of the 26 shots taken by the Ice Lions.

Ice Lions’ #28 Evan Partridge was a standout player in this game, scoring two goals. On the Bobcats’ side, #18 Jack Muhlfeld managed to score one goal, demonstrating his skill and determination.
