The Montana State University Bobcats hockey team secured a dominant victory over the Concordia University of Wisconsin Falcons with a final score of 5-1 in a thrilling matchup at Plager Arena-CCIC on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The Bobcats showcased their offensive prowess by outshooting the Falcons 40 to 26, with a notable performance on the powerplay where they capitalized on 1 out of 6 opportunities. The Falcons, on the other hand, struggled to convert on their powerplay chances, going 0 for 9.

In the goaltending department, Bobcats’ netminder Jorgen Johnson stood tall, turning away 25 of the 26 shots he faced, while Vincent Falcone of the Falcons made 35 saves on 40 shots.

The scoring was spread out for the Bobcats, with #20 Duke Cherpeski finding the back of the net to contribute to the team’s offensive output. On the Falcons’ side, #10 Charles Emme managed to sneak one past Johnson for their lone goal of the game.
