Bobcats Fall Short Against Ocelots in Intense Hockey Match

In a hard-fought game at Plager Arena-CCIC, Montana State University Bobcats fell to the Schoolcraft College Ocelots with a final score of 4-2. The game, held on March 12th, 2026, saw the Bobcats unable to capitalize on their opportunities, leading to their defeat.

Despite putting up a total of 26 shots, the Bobcats were only able to net two, while the Ocelots, with a higher shot count of 37, managed to convert four into goals. Both teams’ powerplay units were unable to make a significant impact, with each team failing to score on their only powerplay opportunity.

Bobcats’ goalie, Nikolai Wallery, faced a barrage of shots, managing to save 33 out of the 37 he faced. On the other end of the ice, Ocelots’ Leo Tykoski was also impressive, stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced.

Wes Innes of the Bobcats managed two assists in the game, showcasing his playmaking abilities. However, it was Logan Tripp of the Ocelots who stood out with a crucial goal that contributed to the Ocelots’ victory.
